Newcastle gets loud: Veritas Festival

If you’ve been waiting for a proper, no compromises heavy weekend in Newcastle, this is it. Veritas Festival is taking over the city with two nights of riffs, sweat, noise and absolute chaos. Things kick off with an intimate, high energy launch show at The Globe on Friday 29 May, before the full festival kicks off at Anarchy Brew Co. on Saturday 30 May. And MXG Sounds will be everywhere, capturing the moments you’ll want to relive.

Friday 29 May: Veritas Launch Show (The Globe, Newcastle)

A warm up? Technically. But this line up is strong enough to be its own headline event. Expect packed rooms, flying elbows, and the kind of “I’ll just have one drink” night that ends with you in a takeaway at 1am.

Line up: • Shallow • Trigger Thumb • Mule • Last Case Scenario • Cane Rouge

Tickets: £6 in advance / £10 on the door.

Saturday 30 May: Veritas Festival (Anarchy Brew Co.)

This is the main event the one people will be bragging about attending for months. Anarchy Brew Co. is the perfect home for it too: huge space, huge sound, huge pints. The bill is stacked from top to bottom, with a mix of established names, rising favourites, and bands who are about to become your new obsession.

Line up: • Lasetlle • Headcage • Hivemind • Ten Eighty Trees • Tired Of Fighting • Ever • Bright is the Sun • Patience • Goodnight Kid • Strays

Tickets: £20 in advance / £30 on the door.

Whether you’re dipping in for the launch show, committing to the full festival day, or doing the full two night gauntlet like the absolute legend you are - don’t sleep on this one. Grab your tickets, get down early, and keep your eyes pealed across the whole weekend. We’ll be on the ground, in the pit, and everywhere in between, bringing you the loudest, sweatiest, most unfiltered coverage of Veritas Festival 2026.
